Wacky Sports Events

Here in the US, a couple of the TV networks may try to imitate some of the popular Japanese challenge game shows but I think they fail. I get the impression they they are to afraid they will get their assets sued off if they try to go the full extend that Japanese TV seems to go.
Take this challenge for example. The goal is to ride the full length of floating containers tied together. Roughly 300 meters distance. Fun to watch…
I saw this and thought Ninja Warrior, another Japanese challenge show that has been airing on the G4 cable channel for a while.

I watched the whole thing…I could not pull myself away lol. It actually seems really fun! I wanna try that. Looks kinda like Unbeatable Banzuke…but a newer episode of something,.
