I am finding that Tweetdeck is not enough for me and having my RSS reader, outlook, and tweetdeck all at the same time is just annoying...not including the fact that there are still things I have to get online to check on each day.
I will try this out and see how it works for me ^^

Very interesting. I will have to check this out. Though out the news programs that I have seen on UStream and NHK on UVerse, both the news crews and citizens were always calm. It is definitely a difference in society/culture. Correct me if I'm wrong but I believe it is more for the needs of others rather than self? I like that a lot.
Though I don't speak the language, I wish I could go there as a family to help. My kids could play with other kids and we could help clear things away. Just the experience working with others I would think be worth the memories.

I agree Kyle. I wish I could live in a culture such as that.

I am happy to hear the people of Japan have not gotten greedy. I feel that if something like this happened to us then it would not be the same, and I really feel that is due to a major cultural difference.<br

Free domestic beer and snacks. It was a great gathering place for friends and long time attendees. Also saved on the bucks a little if you weren't very hungry. The dealer room was SMALL back then. The con was around 800 to just over 1000. That was some years ago.

I used to be a regular at Chattacon in Chattanooga, TN and one nice thing was the con suite. Free domestic beer and snacks. Eating is the one thing I HATE to do at a convention. I just do not get hungry and its such a pain to schedule eating around the panels and dealer room time.

Sounds like you had an awesome time, and very nice loot! Since then I have found 3 other conventions in my area ranging from 200 attendees to 6,000 or 7,000. Each has their own enjoyment for me.

Attending a convention is a great feeling. My first one ever was last year in North Carolina called Animazement.
