Spent a lot of time this weekend going through its tutorial. The files on my system are another story. Sounds like you and I are in similar boats. I have files somewhat scattered on my pc. I started working on that nightmare a while back an still have a ways to go. I found a tool or two I'll share in another article. The way you described your last desktop made me too scared to see it myself haha. I have yet to try Fences, but I really need to. I actually need to clean my desktop up again. It is clean, but not serving its purpose. It is an aggravation keeping my windows in order and finding my programs. One week, moe story, violent thriller the next. I just got tired of trying to remember what show I watched last in a particular series. My spreadsheet also incorporates a rudimentary rating scale and a field to remind me where I saw it at if not in my collection. My spread sheet has grown to tracking my figure collection as well. Order dates, vendors, price and expected release date. I also throw in a URL to the figure pages where I originally offer from. Anyway, my spread sheet has grown. To make a long story shorter, I wanted a more portable version that did not require having a spreadsheet app installed just to access. I have written an app to track my viewing list and I am slowly enhancing it. Perhaps I'll post on it. Anyway, the hopes is to get opinions to help determine features to include.
